No records found or there was an error opening your report

Q: When I try to open a report from the report menu, I get an error:

"No records found or there was an error opening your report."

or

"No Records Found"

on other reports. How can I access those reports?

 

A: Here are a few things to check for if you see this error:

-Sort your Training List by the "Release Date" column to check for any NULL values, or out-of-range dates (i.e. a year such as 219 or 3020).

-Sort your Training List by the "Grace Period" column to look for any NULL values or excessively high numbers such as 999999 days. 

-Sort your Training List by the "Expires In" column to look for excessively high numbers such as 999999 days/months. (to set the training to never expire, just leave this field blank or NULL).

-Look through your recently added completions for any out-of-range dates.

-Sort your Employee list by the "Start Date" or "End Date" column to check for any out-of-range dates.

-Look through your Employee list to see if any employees are listed as their own supervisor.
