WHAT ARE ELECTRONIC EXAMS?
What are Electronic Exams?
An electronic exam is an exam administered within TRAIN TRACK®. You may provide questions and answers about a training topic, or a linked document, and use the exam feature to ensure that your employees understand the material. Each employee may log in, review the linked document if applicable, and answer the questions you have provided. If the employee answers enough of the questions correctly, the exam is passed, and the training is marked as completed within the database. If employees complete electronic exams, then the administrator or manager does not need to record the training completions. You may have as many questions as you wish, or you may just have one question asking if they have read and understood the material. This way, you can allow your employees to confirm that they have completed the training themselves. Each exam is signed with an electronic signature.
When employees take exams electronically, the results are automatically scored and stored with their employee record. To allow users to take exams electronically, you will need to set up the exams and the users. In order for the exam to be available electronically, from the Training Detail screen, the questions and answers for the exam must be entered, and the "Is the Exam Required?" box below must be checked. The Training Detail screen, Exam section displays the questions and answers for the electronic exams for each training.
