Q: I have a training that is required for most of the people in one department, but a few people are not required. Does this mean I have to select the ones that are required individually?
A: No. You may set the training as required for the department, and then select the employees who are not required to complete the training as "exceptions". This way, it will be required for everyone in the department except those you select. This is usually much easier than selecting everyone individually, and it will also automatically require the training for any new employees in the department. You may also use this feature with a required job title
