Hyperlinks to files in the Web edition
Q: Links to files from the web interface are not working. When I paste the link into the browser, it works fine, but when I click the link from TRAIN TRACK, nothing happens. How do I fix this?
Method 1:
The easiest way to set up links to files in TRAIN TRACK is to create a folder within the web application to store all of the files. For instance, on your server, in the following folder: Inetpub/wwwroot/traintrack/**your own custom folder**
Method 2:
If you are not able to move your files to a folder within the web application, you can set up a virtual directory in IIS which will allow you to link to the files where they are stored. Here is an article describing this process:
