Import to update employee records with info from HR

Q: I need an easy way to update the employee records with changes that are already recorded in our HR software. How do I re-import the employee records from Excel in order to update my existing employees with the new information from HR?


A: 
If you can export the data from the HR software into a csv or Excel file, then you can paste it into the import template and import the data. New records will be added, and existing records will be updated with new information. If there is no new information for a record, it will be left as-is. You can do this as often as you like, and you can import from the same file each time. The employee names or ID Numbers in your sheet must exactly match the employee names or ID Numbers in your database.
