Transport Failed to Connect to the Server
Q: When I try to send the test email message from the desktop interface, I get an error message "The transport failed to connect to the server".
A: This indicates that TRAIN TRACK is unable to connect to the SMTP server you specified. Here's what you can do:
- Try using port 25.
- Make sure the 'from' email you are using is an account that can log in to that SMTP server. It usually has to be something from the same domain (for example, if we use SMTP.LibertyLabs.com, then the email has to be me@LibertyLabs.com).
- Try using the IP address for the server instead of the name.
