500 Internal server Error when importing records

Q: I am receiving a 500 Internal Server error when attempting to import employee records using the web interface.

A: This is likely caused by a permissions issue with the upload folder, especially if it is re-routing you to restrictedall.asp. To solve it, please follow these steps:

  1. Locate the Upload folder in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\TRAINTRACK.
  2. Right-click on the folder and select properties.
  3. Under the Security tab, give Full Control to all windows logins that will be uploading files to TRAIN TRACK.
