Q: Can I use the Access runtime installer with Office 365?

A: TRAIN TRACK® is compatible with Office® 365; however, the automatic installer with Access® Runtime does not install a 365 version of Access®. If you are in a 365-environment, you will need to install Access® before you will be able to use TRAIN TRACK.

Note that Access® Runtime 2013 (MSI) installs correctly in a 365-environment and is available as a free download directly from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=39358.

After installing Access®, you may proceed with the TRAIN TRACK® installation as per below.

To use the standard installer, locate the file TTXX_12_x_x_Setup.exe (where x is replaced by the edition and version numbers). Double-click on the file and follow the instructions on your screen.

To install manually from the zip file, locate the file TTXX_12_x_x.zip (where x is replaced by the edition and version numbers). Right-click on the file and select "Extract all". Extract the files to a new folder on your drive where you will be able to locate it. You may create a shortcut to the application if desired by right-clicking on the .accde file and selecting "Send to > Desktop" (this may vary depending on your version of Windows).
