" Revision release date is not the same as training release date.
Q: I have a training that is revision 1. The training record shows a release date of 4/1/2016. When I look at the revision history, it shows the release date for revision 1 as 3/15/2016. Why are the dates different?
A: When you add a new revision, the release date is copied to your main training record for you, as a convenience. However, you are allowed to edit the release date for your training record. If you edit the release date, then it might not be the same as the date that was recorded when you released the new version. If you want it to show the same date, then edit it to the correct date, and in the future, leave the date that was generated for you and do not edit this field after you have added a new revision.
