Back up your current file
1. Make a backup copy of your existing database by making a copy and saving it to a safe location.
Install the new file
1. Download the installation files to your local drive.
2. Right-click on the file you downloaded and select "Extract all".
3. Open the folder where you extracted the files. Double-click on the setup file (called TTDE_x_Setup.exe). If you see a security warning, click "Yes".
4. The installation wizard will open. Click "Next".
5. Check the box to accept the license agreement and click "Next".
6. Select a location to install the software. Make sure it is a different folder than where your old version was installed and click "Next".
7. Click "Install".
8. Click "Finish". TRAIN TRACK will open. If it does not, open it from the shortcut on your start menu.
Import your data
1. Click "Import data from a previous version".
2. Browse to the location of your old file and click "Import". You may see a number of security warnings. Click "Open" in each of them.
3. You will see a message that data has been imported. Click "OK".
4. Close and re-open TRAIN TRACK. Enter your registration and subscription codes when prompted.
You are all set to begin using TRAIN TRACK.
