Add a Photo to the Employee Record

Q: How do I add photos to the employee records from the Desktop or Client interface?

A: To add the employee's picture to their record, please follow these steps:

1. Open the picture you would like to use in your photo viewing software.
2. Right-click on the image file and select "copy."
3. In TRAIN TRACK, open the employee detail screen and select to show "Employee Info > HR".
4. Right-click on the photo field in the employee detail screen and select "paste."

Please note that saving photos is only enabled when using the full version of Access and may not be available in the free runtime version. The Web interface (that you open using a web browser) does not have a feature to allow you to upload photos. If you would like this feature, please let us know and we will add it as a feature request.

We recommend using .jpg files no larger than 20KB, or about 275 pixels x 238 pixels.
